But didn't Connectix make a "RAM Doubler" program for the 68000 machines. 
I wanna say it was called something like "virtua" perhaps? I'm pretty 
sure my RAM Doubler 1.x manual said something about getting that program 
instead of RAM Doubler if you were going to use it on an 68000 machine or 
a 68020 machine without a PMMU.

Of course, I've never owned a Classic, but to me it would make more sense 
just to add the two extra 1M SIMMs to the expansion card that is in it 
(or at least it sounds like it is)

I've never tried getting a Mac online with less than System 7, so I can't 
help much on the rest of the thread. Of course once you clear this 
hurdle, It may work just fine :)
