I love mac.org. It used to by my main site for downloading Mac stuff...
...then I had it all downloaded.

Pickles FAQ http://macfaq.org/index.shtml has a list of things to check. Basicly ram and rom seating. I've seen to many leaking caps or batterey damage cause this rather than dirty pins but its a good place to start.
