Yeah, the wiring on mine has one wire coming straight off the power plug, into the 
switch, out of the switch, back to the board, and through the fuse. Mine doesn't make 
any sounds at all when turned on... but it does when headphones are plugged in... 
speaker perhaps?

Right now I'm faced with a very big problem with mine... a snapped picture tube. I 
have an intact Plus one, and am quickly waiting for a response as to whether or not to 
go ahead with the tube-transplant. I really want to get this thing up and running 
again! The look alike, but the components attached to them look different on the Plus 
and the Classic, so I'm kinda worried.

Need advice, quick!
