I should note: it works SOMETIMES like, when I first got it, it would print fine. And then bad. And then tonight, I got it to work decently (it printed all the text appropriately alligned and such it was just that I had rolled the paper in off to one side) and now its bad again. Whats a DIP switch?

Well, I tried a different application on a different disk, and got the same result. The printer powers up just fine. Because I don't have the old style printer paper I have been hand feeding normal 8.5x11 pieces of paper into it, and the printer is messing up the alignments and trying to print the majority of the text WAY far to the right off the paper.... What could be causing this? Is it time to kick the printer to the curb?
Thanks for the help -Kendall--------- Those old workhorses almost never fail. It just keeps getting a bit harder to find ribbons.
It sounds more like you have a problem with the DIP switch settings. Do you have the manual? If not, I have one and can try to poke through it for you.
What OS, machine and applications are you matching it with?
