Hi David,

You should have no issues with your SE/30 on a TCP/IP network with your PC
and newer Macs. I use a couple of mine as file servers for my other
machines. If it has 10Base2, just get a hub with a BNC connector on it, or
replace the NIC which is fairly straight forward.
The SE/30 actually makes a new lil email/web system too, but not blazingly
fast. You can run a number of
versions of IE on it or Netscape. I think that 7.01 will also support TCPIP
or MacTCP. Unless you have access
to 7.5, you really can't go to 7.5.3. But you sure can get on the web with
the machine easy enough. Most of my SE.30's
have a standard (for me Configuration) 128 Megs of RAM, and 500M to 2Gig HD.
But my new one has 8 Megs
and an 80M, and I still got online with it (for email anyways).
Maybe search Google for Compact Mac or Classic Mac. :)
When you get into setting this up, email me if I can assist you with more
specific info.

Chuck
