and that shouldn't be too difficult to find, but my experience with
versions of Mac OS previous to 9 are very limited.

An easier solution would be to look for an old 10BaseT hub with a 10Base2 port on it. Then you just connect the thin-net cable to the hub, and RJ-45 to the rest of your network.
