It is unlikely the CRT. A bad U1 IC semiconductor on the analogue board is
the main thing that would explain this problem. However, R22 is often the
culprit. You might start by replacing it and/or other trouble spots: CR2,
CR3, Q2, occasionally T2 (the flyback transformer) and CR5 rarely. Good
