Hello everyone My computer won't start up properly, and I need your help!
I switch on my pc, all the fans/drives start up and I get one normal Post Beep, however, there is no input to my monitor, I don't even get a screen asking me to into the bios. Ive tested my graphics card on another machine, and it seems fine. I have also tested the monitor+cable on another machine, which is also fine. My RAM i have been unable to test on my other machine, as it does not support DDR2. I have tried resetting the BIOS and testing the RAM by placing one stick in and turning it on, that kind of thing, but nothing changes. I have tried booting without my graphics card in properly, which results in lots of Post beeps, and without ram, which results in a continuous Post beep, as expected. I need to know if there's anything I can try, other than buying new hardware straight away! Please help! :) Here's the specs of my machine: Motherboard: Packard Bell Stingray - PTS73 Processor: Intel Quad Core Q6600 Graphics Card: inno3D Ge-Force 9800-GT (1GB DDR3) RAM: 2x Corsair DDR2 2048MB @ 800 Mhz PCU: EZ Cool 550W OS: Windows Vista 64x 2 Hard Drives, 1 DVD/RW Drive Many thanks Luke -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Computer Tech Support" group.
