Maybe even a hard reset of your TX if you have everything backed up/
synced elsewhere. And try blue toothing from the TX to someone's blue
tooth phone. See if the phone will see the TX.

If your Bluetooth isn't working on the Palm, try a soft reset before
you give up. And make sure the GPS receiver has good power.

Hi All! It's been a very frustrating spring. So far I've replaced my TX
because the touch screen stopped reacting to touch. The new TX is
great, but the
GPS unit just - yesterday! - decided that it can't find any
satelites. We've
tried resetting everything. The Blue Tooth signal seems to be working
on the GPS,
but it's not being picked up by the Palm TX. I'm assuming that all
satelites
are in their correct places and the GPS unit I have has been dropped
too many
times and has stopped working.
Since TomTom hasn't upgraded their maps to work with the TX since
2005, I'm
ready to throw in the towel and replace everything. So my question is:
Any recommendations for a GPS (TomTom or Garmin) to replace my existing
system? I gather that the new systems do not need to work with the
Palm. Rather
they come "complete" and ready to use.
Of course, I'd like something by next week-end as we're driving from
Baltimore to Cranberry, NJ on Saturday, but I guess we can use
"google" or go back to
a paper map if we have to.
