I have a TomTom One, which I don't have any complaints about it other than
the battery life, which is about 2 hours.  Other models I've seen are rated
longer.  But, I don't use it that much, so it's not a big deal.  I do have
to say that it's odd that it's Bluetooth won't pair up with a Blackberry.
The BT compatibility list is somewhat limited.

Garmin's are the hot seller now, but they tend to be more expensive than
others.  They also seem to have more after market accessories.

I would decide what you need (text to voice, traffic, etc.) and your budget
and go from there.  The TT One is basic, just directional speech, but I've
seen it going for $129 last week, a very good price.
