We were told that if we gave billions to rich bankers this money would be used to correct their reckless mismanagement and allow them to restart lending. It didn't. Instead it was spent on $50,000,000 airplane toys, $1,000,000 office remodels, and $20,000,000,000 in bonuses to the undeserving. The TARP did not work, it was simply stolen.
