I agree with the USA part, but most actions were left/right united, as in WWI, and WWII. But mostly the right in winning the Cold War.

And, if I may be so bold, the neocons can take credit for ousting a totalitarian regime and establishing a multi-party representative government in Iraq. Yes, can't say the war is officially over, but Iraq feels self-sufficient to assume full responsibility without our help in a year or two.
