I have bought computers since the 1980's, both personal use (Apple) and corporate/government-contracts (SGI, Sun, many PC vendors). I Never buy _any_ additional memory from the computer vendor. It has always been cheaper to buy memory from a memory vendor - much cheaper! That "proof" is Bo-o-ogus!
Thank you, Mark Snyder -----Original Message----- >Want proof? Check apple prices on memory upgrades on new machines as >opposed to buying memory from a vendor. Dell overcharges just as much. I've seen printer manufacturers overcharge by 500-1000%. Best Buy's prices are crazy. I bet many others overcharge too. ************************************************************************ * ** List info, subscription management, list rules, archives, privacy ** ** policy, calmness, a member map, and more at http://www.cguys.org/ ** ************************************************************************ * ************************************************************************* ** List info, subscription management, list rules, archives, privacy ** ** policy, calmness, a member map, and more at http://www.cguys.org/ ** *************************************************************************
