Betty--Assuming Tom's claim is real (he misplaced his link to back this up, goshdarnit!), 1.7% is an average of ALL PC makers, which is quite a few. We have no way of knowing what made this number and what it measured. Tom's playing fast and loose with reality, so that it matches his expectations, is well documented.
