I knew it was hopeless to ask for honest, non-weasely responses. 

You failed to answer a single question honestly because, over and over and
over, you're completely missing the point. You're responding to issues that
no one but yourself raised. These are straw man arguments, every single one
of them.

The issue that was raised had nothing to do with whether or not Marcio
should buy Vista (no one suggested that he should). 

It was not about the merits of Vista vs. XP. 

It was not about whether or not Vista is buggy.

It was not about the morality of MS marketing.

It was, however, very simple: was the information Marcio got from his shop
owner about WHY he should not upgrade accurate and reliable? Does the shop
owner appear to be knowledgable and competent? It's clear to everyone except
you that she is not.

You can raise all those other issues if you want, but when you do so in
response to what was being talked about, it is simply obfuscation.
