Just a heads up on this in case you haven't discovered it - xmms and
supermount do not play together well. Umount /mnt/cdrom if it's
supermounted before trying to do anything with xmms. iMacLinux used to
have a pretty good HowTo on doing this with the newer machines, but it's
still down =(. I've never had to deal with it, as my machines still have
audio from the CD->soundcard. Design-wise this seems like a dumb idea to
me to have to use the processor to rip audio from the CD just to play
music, but it probably saved a nickel on the machine's hardware design ;^)
This falls right in with Winmodems and Winprinters in my book =(
