Many thanks for your support. I hope this finally gets accepted to
the product.
And I hope there is less hassle for the next idea. But all
Mandrake's excellent staff have their heads down and are trying to
operate under great pressure - you can expect outbursts sometimes -
yes, from both sides.
My big concern is why do a new release now? They are so close that
I would have expected 7.1 to wait for XFree 4 (4.1?), KDE2, koffice,
netfilter, JFS, Bosch, and all those other major enhancements "just
around the corner". I not aware of a sufficient functional
enhancement delta to justify 7.1 at this time.
