Double-clicking itself is hard enough, I find it
especially difficult on a laptop.  I do see what
you're saying about doing 3 things at once though, so
maybe on a laptop you should configure double-click as
a special case.  It shouldn't be the default.

Works for me.  If you found a way in which it doesn't
that sounds like a bug.
