Thank you for the second reminder that Gnome sucks. 
Keyboard crap for copy/paste == Ctrl-C/Ctrl-V, in
Linux you just highlight and middle click.  And yes
there's one more button press to initiate the
selection process with single-click, that's a *hell*
of a lot better that *lots* more mouse crap (aka
double-clicks).

Yes, I understand you stick to Gnome because you like
the Windows interface.  Some of us like to move on to
better things.
