I was a terrible pancake turner over and maker, (had tried many recipes
scratch and boxed)until one of my blind sisters gave me her recipe which
turns out great every time and she does one at a time using a one third
measuring cup... I knew I had a winner when my 2 grandsons finally ate them
like the taste and the way they looked! They had been my guinea pigs and
trust me they were not kind but totally honest!
Jean Nitz never fail pancakes
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1 egg
1 tablespoon oil
optional 1 teaspoon vanilla
if you use sour milk (butter milk) toss in half teaspoon baking soda and
cut baking powder down to 2 teaspoons
mix everything up use 1/3 cup to measure out batter we both use cast iron
skillets not sure if it is a 10 or 12 inch size.

the question has come up on one of my lists:
how do you flip pancakes and keep them in the pan?
