First, you make two slits in the hot dog and insure a small slice of cheddar cheese. Then, you take the strip of bacon and wind it around the hot dog. Lastly, you take the crescent roll piece of dough and wrap that around the hot dog. You can press it to seal or put a toothpick in after you've finished winding the dough wrap around the whole thing. Put it on your baking sheet with the cut side of the hot dog facing up so that your cheese doesn't get lost in the shuffle. Bake at about $400 degrees till smells done.

Hope my addition helped a little.

Do you wrap the bacon around them along with the crescent rolls?

Debba, Yes it is 350 oven. They are usually brown by 12 mins if oven is pre heated before you put them in. Katie

My first thought is that you follow the directions on the rolls package. By the time they're done, so are the insides.

Pigs in Blankets

Take several hot dogs and split lengthwise; stuff with cheese of your
choice; wrap with strips of bacon and grill for about 3 minutes on each side. (These can be wrapped in Pillsbury crescent rolls and baked in the oven for 12 to 15 minutes.)

Sorry, I just noticed this recipe has no temperature listed. 350
possibly?

Hello,
It's a tradition at our house to have pigs in blankets, (the hot
dog and crescent roll thing, not the cabbage thing), on Christmas
Eve. I know the basic procedure, although those crescent rolls
are a pain, (hate finding the perforations), but can't remember
time or temp. Recipes, please, and this time I'll keep them.
