I have a lot of glass baking dishes that I have used for years; I would
think that simply using them with the usual care would be just fine.

No--no explosions. The usual recommendation is to cook with slightly
cooler
temperatures, however. For example, if you are baking something at 350,
you
should bake at 325 in a glass pan.
