I love the recipes I have seen. That is why I joined this mailing list.
I do not expect them to be professional, but, I do expect that when I ask
questions I will be handled in a way that is professional. I do not expect to
be treated with snide comments, or reacted to in such a way that seems just
tasteful.
That is all that I expect.
And I thank you in advance to have the decorum to treat others as you would
like to be treated.

Well, since none of the folks here save for Dale are professionals in the
cooking field (I do write a recipe column for a role-playing magazine, but it's
not a paying market) expecting professionalism is a bit much, don't you think?
This mailing list has a lot of folks that are trying to learn their way around
a kitchen while not being able to see, so recipes from these folks can
sometimes get a bit rudimentary. I for one am going to nurture their culinary
creative side and ask questions if I don't understand something, not
recriminate. My expectations of what I think should be in a recipe has nothing
to do with them or their recipe, and everything to do with me and my issues. As
I said earlier, expectations decrease joy.
