when you did this recipe, how much hash brown potatoes did you use?

Try hash browns, especially the potatoes O'brien style -- I've done a recipe
similar to this with them in it before and it worked well.

A personal opinion: I would make it without Tater Tots. Wonder if
French Fries would be a suitable substitute, preferably very heavily
