Thanks for this tip. I did get the fresh pineapple; it, indeed, is swweeter
than the canned variety, and I like it, and do intend to get it again. I
have the cutter, which slices and really makes it easy for me.
I did not try grilling it yet, but had some with cottage cheese. Great!

And just for comparison, I tend to find fresh pineapple to be sweeter than
the canned stuff.
It's also great for digestive problems. But under no circumstances should
you let either a dog or cat get a hold of it -- it shuts their digestion
down and can cause problems.
