Hi, My Cuisinart is also along the lines of a Foreman grill with variations. Your grill sounds more advanced. I have to time my meat and set temps on it.
You can get nylon spatchulas so metal doesn’t scratch the surface of your grill. They also sell tong-like utencils that are half spatchula & half fork. It helps to grab and hold onto what you’re trying to move. I’m not sure who sells them anymore. But be careful and try experimenting with different combinations until you find something you’re comfortable with and that works for you. Perhaps 2 forks or tongs might do it. I just wondered what you all did. BTW, the Optigrill is one of those George Foreman type devices that has 2 grilling plates, so it grills on the top and bottom simultaneously. It has a processor that senses thickness and temperature, and shuts the grill off at the perfect time. When it works, it's great! Nicole, I've never heard of a grilling basket. Is that something you put the food in to cook on the grill? Lou On 1/1/19, Nicole Massey via Cookinginthedark <[email protected]> wrote: > Try a grilling basket.
