Hi again, WinCoot should not be restricted to one CPU any more. This was in the past. I am not sure what CCP4 may have done to the startup script though...
I located a potential issue in coot.bat, which you find in yourccp4directory/bin. This file has "/affinity 1" in the last line before (coot-bin.exe). Remove this and it should use all available CPUs. If it doesn’t we need to find another place where this may be set and/or the processors are restricted.
