After much discussion and more than a few beers we have decided that old Fred wanted zero slop in the elevator run. Accordingly, we have set the tension to 160lbs and will monitor it for settling-in and temperature changes. Thanks to everyone for their inputs. Jim Read ps - we're over 2,500 hours into the rebuild of #4019. Does anyone have a spare coupe I can rent/lease in SoCal to get some handling in?
