My wing tank gage is the fuel tank bobber in the left wing. Works great.
I like it better then the one inside the plane that I could never read.
The
reason this type gage is on my plane is due to fuel tank mods ala 337
that change the piping around. The overflow goes into the left tank via
the old gage location.

I should think that a gage in the right tank would be out of sight
from the pilots seat.
