Be careful. I put one of those Rain-Pruf gages on my left tank and
within 15 min. after takeoff the tank would show almost empty! Come in
and land thinking I was losing fuel and the tank would show full. Found
out that apparently the Rain-Pruf has a bigger vent and this caused the
left tank to 'pressurize' forcing the fuel over to the right tank. Went
back to original Coupe caps on both tanks-no problem. repaired the fuel
gage in the cockpit instead of using outside gages.
