advice in this forum.]----

During my training I was taught to utilize everything
available on the panel. I'm putting a artifical
horizion in my coupe as we speak. I'm not an IFR
pilot, nor do I like flying in clouds. Sometimes
things happen, better safe than sorry. Every pilot out
there has a little hood time. I hated it during
training, but now I practice it at least every month
or two. I also have a freind with a Citabria, we go up
now and then for a little spin training. I'd also
advise practiceing stalls and slips. You never know
when something pops up unanounced. Its not like you
can pull over and wait it out, when your in the air.
I'm into simplicity myself, but I think if you fly
enough these instruments will prove vauable. Danny
