Jeff:

I use 100LL in my C-90 because the warranty from the recent engine rebuild
forbids the use of other than AVgas.  I add TCP at each fill-up to get rid
of the excess lead and the plugs seem to stay clean.  Another unfortunate
expense.

You can buy the mogas STC.  What you mainly have to avoid is alcohol in
the
mogas and that is pretty tough to do in some areas of the country.
Alcohol
attacks seals, the sloshing compound in the tanks, cork float sealants,
and
is forbidden by the STC.  There are tests for alcohol.  If you don't use
the plane very often, mogas will also form sludge in the tanks, but AVgas
will will remain "fresh" for a long time.
