Have two C-85 coupes here in Arizona that use 100LL exclusively! Over the
years I have used the 90 year old product called MXO in autos and use
MXO-AV
as additive with the 100LL to:
Remove Deposits as a detergent, Lubricants To Replace TEL. Octane Enhancer
and
Moisture Eliminator
MXO-AV signicantly reduces valve warpage, high cylinder head temperatures,
blowby, stuck valves/piston rings, carburetor icing, clogged injectors,
poor
performance, rough idle, detonation, and other more common fuel related
problems in radial and opposed aircraft.

Runs great!

Jeff--
All we have around here (Central Wisconsin) is 100LL and autogas.
I've
had no problems burning either. Of course, in order to burn autogas
legally you must have the STC in the plane and placards next to the fuel
caps. When I burn 100LL I add TCP according to the directions on the
can. This is supposed to scavage the lead deposits from the valves and
spark plugs. Does it work? I guess so, as I haven't had any problems.
You can order TCP from Chief Aircraft Supply and many other aviation
supply places.
