Jon, I have the C-75 and the Stromberg carb. About a year ago I had a 
problem with rough idle,ran good at cruise rpm, found that the screws 
that hold the carb float bowl to the carb body were all loose causing 
air to be sucked in over the float. You might want to check these 
screws. Some are tough to get at unless you remove the carb. They are 
safety wired but still got loose-I think the gasket shrunk some.  Craig
