Craig > > 2623h PS: Jon you may not be getting carb ice. I have flown my Stromberg carb over 10 yrs and have never had a problem with ice. I think your idle mixture is on the lean side. Even set right the Stromberb does not like to come out of idle without some coughing and spitting etc. Once past 1500rpm they run fine.
