His response made it clear that he is not, and is apt to remain one of the human hazards that seem to haunt every small airport. Given that I'm not going to change his foolish ways, we may as well remain on friendly terms. Perhaps the next time he'll be a bit more considerate, now that he knows someone notices. Perhaps I'll one day mention the incident to the airport owner over lunch. You can bet I will if I see other indications of reckless behavior on his part.
