I am running courier and the ldap authentication module. Users have
local accounts on the box which were created before
ldap was implemented. I tried to change the UID of a user and courier
didn't like it:

id=00A94417.4325D8E8.00008EE7,from=<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>,addr=<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:
getpwuid() failed: Unknown error: 0
What is the proper way to change a UID such that courier doesn't complain?
