At HUD SF, you have to write you name on a half-hour timetable to reserve or before using the booth. You are not allow to reserve more than 2 consecutive slots.
The timetable is on the glass door which you person inside can see. Often, when you are over your reservation, the host and other members probably will write their name on the next slot. The person inside will see it. This is a polite way to tell the person to wrap up.
