Cowork Frederick also has phone rooms, two to be exact. We don't ask folks to reserve reserve them; they are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. With only 26 members so far (we'll max out at 50 in our space at any given time), we may have a lower ratio of members to phone rooms than other spaces. We've given clear guidance that the phone rooms are for phone calls / webcasts, etc. and not to be used a private offices and we've not had any problems. As of now, we don't plan to restrict the amount of time spent in our phone rooms, but if we do find we need to, we'll probably allow a longer duration, say, 2 hours for extended webcasts or remote meetings. Also, we agree that if someone's job has them on the phone all the time, coworking is probably not a good fit and we're honest about that upfront. If only certain days of the week are heavy phone call days (Mondays and Fridays for me), staying at home on those days is best. We offer part-time memberships for those who divide their time between working at Cowork Frederick and working elsewhere.
