Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought MSG was used to speed up the cooking
process unnaturally.  I thought that is how the Chinese got food from the
ordering to the table in under 5 minutes.  I thought that is why I always
got headaches afterwards...

MSG = monosodium glutamate which is used
as a flavouring.
