This looks very funny!
I don't have the time to test it right now, but I will. We should also
create a page on the wiki to comment and brainstorm on it.
First change I suggest would be to change the cost of defense from XP to
gold. The reason is simple: we have plans to get rid of the XP pool, so
better not to rely on it.
Give each monster some gold to keep the income flowing.
