I was just going to mention something to that effect. I sort of have power
locks in that my locks are controlled by the alarm. I have the solenoids
in each door. Now it's just a matter of me getting around to installing
some switches that will operate the doors (which, as you can probably tell,
has not been a high priority of mine since I installed the solenoids back
when I got the car in 1998....).

Anyway, I don't think I've *EVER* used my outside door locks. I wonder if
they work? :^\

The solenoids, at the time, were $30 (USD) each and I programmed second
button on my alarm remote to lock and unlock the doors. It took me about
an hour to do each door. I probably could have done it in less time but I
was also installing the alarm system. I got the solenoids from a local
stereo/alarm type shoppe.

Since we're on the subject, has anyone added a power lock for the rear
hatch? Easy? Hard?
