Some argue that one of the attributes for a vehicle to gain "vintage"
status is to be at least 20 years old. So that would mean that mine is due
for a mid-life crisis... :^)

I've thought about shaving my door handles. And of course it happened
basically a week after I did the paint job back in 2000. That's basically
when I should have done it because I also had to do some repairs to the
body kit. Although I have to admit that I was going to do it mainly for
looks and I guess perhaps for added security.

I have shaved door handles and used solenoids to pop the doors on some of
my past cars and trucks and it's pretty easy to do. I still may do it but
I kinda want to do my rear hatch too as perhaps my front hood too. I did
this with a VW I use to own, I used a solenoid to help latch the front hood
down (bypassing the stock mechanism).

But before I do any of that, I think I will do power windows first (tied
into the alarm system, of course). I will probably sculpt a new set of
door panels too.

So, having said that, I probably won't get around to doing this until
sometime next year... :^P
