He put the solenoid in the drivers side rear quarter panel.  He said he 
cut the stock hatch wire and put the solenoid in line with it.  From what 
he tells me, the hatch cable is VERY sensitive.  Like if you touch it, it 
will open.  He also said that there isn't enough room to put the solenoid 
next to the latch assembly.  Since my car is parked in my garage, I might 
be able to take a couple pics of it later this week.
