I'm assuming you mean power hatch release, not hatch lock. When my CRX was broken into last year, I paid over $450 to get my alarm installed. I had the power door lock silenoids installed and a power hatch release installed. When I was talking to the installer, I told him that I wanted the whole hatch release cable removed so the ONLY way they could open the hatch is with the remote or the key. He said that was the best, because the power hatch release for most Hondas are very difficult to get to work along with the factory hatch release. Even with him pulling the cable out, it still took him a good 2-3 hours to get the release silenoid to work every time. It was very worth the money IMO. And if your wondering if anyone has broken into it since, nope... I was rear ended 4 weeks later and the car was totaled! :) (Karma is a bitch) John
