I have heard that using Coca-Cola on rusted bolts works pretty good, just put some on top let it penetrate and hard to get out bolts come right off !

I've not used that trick for rusted nuts and bolts, but have used it to clean up battery terminals/posts and battery cables before. I also head (and I mean this seriously) that it can't be Diet.
