I believe the issue you've had is the servers you happened to play on...and not SourceMod. Those servers may be bloated with other things running, or may just have subpar hardware. I've received nothing but praise from the thousands of unique players that have played on my server since July.
At some point you should just admit you cannot stand third party modifications. It would help people read your posts.
