strangely enough, aside from my above experience, randomly i do have servers that reconnect on their own. two nights ago i watched a server go into session error with 14 players, stay in session error for 4 hours, then clear itself and allow players again.
apparently there is something that is trying but not succeeding at all times, unless by use through matchmaking? people can say above that the matchmaking system is on a different system all they want.. whatever "systems" are in place for the different modes like public vs. valve should be replicated for what is working in one or another, across the board. ido can say all ido wants... but it seems to work in matchmaking..... sooo??????? bash all you feel makes your life happier, mr. loveless is right on par with what everyone who owns popular public servers go through and only wants to voice anyway. the core issue being the core issue, put all the personal aside. f'n fix it.
