As I saw it, the parameter of this particular thread was that the victim was
outside the range; thus giving rise, at least superficially, to a
possibility that range design/construction deficiencies were responsible.
Thus I was excluding the very small number of injuries/deaths ON British
ranges.

My research covered these, but I was only able to obtain data on sport
shooting deaths (about 6 or 7 per decade as I recollect, most of which
appeared to be while hunting); injuries are naturally less important and
shooting range injuries are so few and far between that I only ever found
anecdotal evidence.

If anyone has any hard data on accidental shooting injuries or deaths, in
any country, I'd greatly welcome it.
