That's an awfully good idea! I've been totally Linuxized since age 14 so I'm pretty clueless as to what APIs Windows provides. If there's a C API to do normalization, I could just bind the function(s) we need like I did with ICU before. I even have a licensed copy of Windows that was forced down my throat when I bought my laptop, so I'm going to explore this approach right away. Reinier
